TBS 001. 3 Hours Nairobi City
Tour
The tour covers the modern city centre, the National Museum and
the adjacent Snake Park, Parliament Buildings and the Railway Museum
where old steam locomotives are exhibited. The tour includes a visit
to the City Market where a wide variety of African curios, tropical
fruit and flowers are on sale, ending with a visit to the Kenyatta
International Conference Centre view point which has a revolving
restaurant and the former bomb blast area where the American Embassy
was and which is now a memorial park.

TBS 002. 3 Hours Bomas of Kenya
A boma means homestead in Kiswahili. Some 18 km from Nairobi City
Centre we have the Bomas of Kenya where the day to day likes of
the 43 different ethnic groups in Kenya are depicted through traditional
dances and folklore. These plus an acrobatic show are performed
in a splendid arena.

TBS 003. 4 Hours Karen Blixen
and Giraffe Centre
Drive towards Ngong Hills by passing Ngong village to the Karen
Blixen Museum of the ‘Out of Africa’ fame which was
for many years her home. From the compound you not only see the
old machines she used for coffee farming but also you have a nice
view of the ngong hills that look like ‘knuckles’ Later
proceed to the Giraffe Centre to view and feed the famous Rothschild’s
giraffes which are an endangered species from a specially constructed
observation platform.

TBS 004. Carnivore Experience
The excursion is guaranteed daily 1230hrs. and 1900hrs. We recommend
lunch or dinner at the Carnivore which is famous for its succulent
steaks and barbecued meat dishes including game meat. The restaurant
is therefore dubbed ‘the meat eaters paradise’, though
it also offers a vegetarian menu. The meal is an excellent complement
to a holiday especially as a welcome or farewell. The cost includes
return hotel transfers.

TBS 005. Nairobi National Park
The park is only a few kilometers from Nairobi city centre. Over
50 species of mammals are home to the park including four out of
the ‘big five’ except the elephant. The tour may include
a visit to the animal orphanage where wounded or orphaned animals
are nurtured back to health if the time permits. The tour departs
at 0800hrs. Or 1400hrs. daily.

TBS 006. 1 Day Nairobi National
Park -Lunch Carnivore - Bomas
The tour departs in the morning at 0800hrs. The park is 12 km from
the city centre and is home to plenty of migratory game despite
its small size, being only 111 kms. The morning is spending tracking
some of the many species found here. After lunch at the Carnivore
Restaurant continue to the Bomas of Kenya for a fiesta of traditional
music and dance. The tour ends in the city centre in the evening.

TBS 007. Half or full day Lost
Paradise
Leave Nairobi and drive to the largest picnic site in Kenya, the
grounds here cover 54 acres. This is the home of the Stone Age caves
and trees thought to be hundreds of years old while the river reeds
have stories to tell of centuries past and people long dead, which
lead to a waterfall about 10m long which feeds a dammed river flowing
past the picnic site. Activities include feeding the Maasai ostriches,
bird watching touring the coffee plantation, horse and camel riding,
boat riding and fishing for black bass.

TBS 008. Lake Nakuru Express
Lake Nakuru lies on the floor of the Volcano strewn Rift Valley
and is famous for it’s greater and lesser flamingoes. It is
also the home to the white rhino which is an endangered species.
Proceed for a game drive en-route to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon
game viewing in search of the plains game that abounds in the park
then depart for Nairobi arriving in the evening.

TBS 009. 1 Day Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Depart Nairobi and drive north past pleasant countryside with coffee
and tea plantations. Stop at Karatina town, then taking picnic lunches
with you, proceed to Sweet Waters Game Reserve. The Chimpanzee Sanctuary
here is home to more than 26 orphaned chimpanzee age varying from
2 to 15 years most of which came from the Jane Goodall Institute
in Burundi. The latest addition is Baby zee, rescued from a pet
shop in the United Arab Emirates. Return to Nairobi in the evening.
