6 DAYS MT KENYA NAKURU MARA LODGE SAFARI
Day 1
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the Central Kenya
highlands into the equatorial forest of Mt Kenya arriving for lunch
at the Serena Mountain Lodge( Tree hotel) Afternoon is spent
relaxing at the balcony of the lodge watching as a variety of game
come down to the water hole to drink. Dinner and overnight at the
lodge.
Day 2
Depart Mt Kenya and drive west to the floor of the Great Rift Valley
arriving in time for lunch at the lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive
around the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru lodge or
the Sarova lion hill lodge.
Day 3
After breakfast at the lodge depart and head further south to the
world famous Maasai mara game reserve arriving in time for lunch at
the Keekorok lodge. Afternoon game drive dinner and over night at
the lodge.
Day 4
The whole day is spent exploring this park which was recently named
as the 7th great wonder of the new world and the 4th best place to
visit in the world. The animals to look out for are all the members
of the Big 5 ie Elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and rhinos, a
variety of antelopes and other herbivores, larger carnivores like
cheetahs and hyenas among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5
The whole day is spent in the park with pre-breakfast, late morning
and afternoon game drives . Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 6
Depart after breakfast, with packed lunches drive through the park
exiting through the sekenani gate. Onward to Nairobi with a stop for
lunch enroute. Arrive in Nairobi late after noon and drop off at
your hotel or at the airport.
